Alya is the Founder and President of Nature’s Anthem, a date farm and online retailer of dates based in Coachella Valley, CA. Prior to starting her own business, Alya began her career in finance, working for a small manufacturing business in Eugene, OR and then for a consulting firm in Boston, MA. At the consulting firm, Alya worked on several projects in the government accounting office and for the CFO’s office. After moving back to California with her husband, Alya took time off to raise her three sons. She attended law school part-time and passed the California bar in 2010. Alya has volunteered for various organizations including her children’s schools and universities, religious organizations and legal aid clinics. Alya holds a B.S. in Finance from Santa Clara University and a Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School.
