Ethical and Moral Responsibilities
ING Content Manager Ameena Jandali is moderating a panel on “Ethical and Moral Responsibilities in the Face of Global Calamities” at the 59th Annual Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) Convention. In addition to coronavirus, our society is afflicted with several serious social viruses, such as mass shootings, violence, hunger, poverty, racial inequality, and institutional racism. These social injustices are the result of overlooking our ethical responsibilities. The panelists will discuss how Islamic ethical teachings can help us find lasting solutions to these challenges.
Throughout the event the panelists will entertain questions and have a discussion with the audience.
Panelists:
Dalia Mogahed
Ebrahim Rasool
Salam Al-Marayati
Shaykh Yahya Rhodus
Dr. Seyyed Hossein Nasr
Moderator: Ameena Jandali (bio)
