This interreligious panel designed for corporate leaders and staff will bring together a Muslim and a Jewish panelist for a conversation about the common concerns of Islamophobia and antisemitism. The speakers open by providing definitions and examining both historical and contemporary sources which contribute to Islamophobia and antisemitism. They will then address all the ways they are disseminated, what they want the audience to know about their communities based on prevailing stereotypes and offer suggestions for interacting effectively with Jewish and Muslim colleagues and clients. They will conclude with strategies for countering Islamophobia and antisemitism both on interpersonal and institutional levels.

Throughout the event the panelists will entertain questions and have a discussion with the audience.

Panelists:

Muslim American: Maha Elgenaidi (bio)Jewish American: Tyler Gregory (bio)
