Religions generally declare themselves as valuing and promoting peace, but in history religion has often been enlisted to support wars. In this panel, adherents of major world religions discuss the resources for peacemaking found in the traditions and teaching of their faith and discuss how religion can contribute to peace in the world.

This panel will be in observation of UN’s International Human Rights day which is on December 10. The purpose of this panel is to recognize human rights, with a focus on Human Right #2: Don’t discriminate. The goal is to open the door to all the issues we face with regards to discrimination and bullying among other issues.
