Salaam/ Greetings of Peace

Dear friends,
As we approach the close of another year, I want to wish all who celebrate a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! This season of reflection and renewal offers us a powerful opportunity to connect with one another and embrace the hope and possibilities of what lies ahead. To you and your loved ones, I extend my warmest wishes for peace, joy, and fulfillment.
Reflecting on 2024 fills me with gratitude. This year, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with diverse institutions across the nation, advancing education that unites rather than divides. Together, we’ve tackled Islamophobia, antisemitism, and other forms of bigotry head on, crafting strategies that foster understanding and promote a vision of America where everyone belongs. This work has not only built bridges but has also sown the seeds of lasting change.
The Quran powerfully reminds us of our shared humanity: “O humanity, We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another” (49:13). These words challenge us to celebrate our differences while finding strength in what connects us. They inspire our ongoing mission to create a future grounded in empathy, solidarity, and unity.
Looking ahead to 2025, we are inspired and ready to take our efforts to the next level. With new initiatives on the horizon, we will deepen our collaborations with federal and city governments, as well as other institutions nationwide. These partnerships will be the cornerstone of our efforts to build a society where everyone is valued, respected, and empowered to thrive.
Your support fuels this mission. If you’re inspired by this vision, I invite you to join us by making a donation. Together, we can amplify our impact and create a more inclusive and harmonious future for all.
Thank you for standing with us in this vital work. As we welcome the new year, let us renew our collective resolve to make a difference. May 2025 bring bold strides toward a better, brighter America.
With deep gratitude and unwavering hope,
Maha Elgenaidi
Executive Director
