ING Celebrates its 29th Anniversary: Unveiling ING 2.0

ING’s Virtual Benefit Event Held on May 4th, 2021

This Ramadan marked ING’s 29th anniversary as a peace-building organization providing face-to-face education and engagement opportunities that foster understanding of Muslims and other misunderstood groups to promote harmony among all people.

To mark this incredible milestone, we held a virtual benefit on Tuesday, May 4th for our friends and supporters. The virtual event begins with an overview of ING’s diverse programs with video clips highlighting each, including its flagship program, the Islamic Speakers Bureau (ISB), as well the INGYouth program, the Interfaith Speakers Bureau (IFSB), the Intercultural Speakers Bureau (ICSB) and ING’s cultural diversity trainings.

The event also introduces ING’s newest staff members who will join existing employees to make up the core team which will take ING to the next level. They include Dahlia Eltoumi who recently joined ING as Development Manager, Melissa Levinson whose new role is Programs Assistant, Hasnain Syed, ING’s new Digital Marketing Manager, and Zachary Markwith who will be working as a Content Manager. We are thrilled to welcome these new team members!

The virtual event also features ING’s founder Maha Elgenaidi introducing ING’s new CEO Tabassum Haleem who brings two decades of experience in both the corporate and non-profit sector to her role of leading ING into its next iteration, or ING 2.0. Tabassum shares her vision for the organization and describes three major goals that she believes are essential in taking ING to the next level and expanding its work. We hope you enjoy viewing the online event and share it with friends and family.

Below we also feature two supplementary videos.
