Brisa is a middle school Spanish teacher, 8th grade advisor, and social justice educator at Redwood Day in Oakland. Both in and out of the classroom, Brisa enjoys engaging with and learning from her middle schoolers around themes of equity and inclusion, and is only ever hopeful when hearing their perspectives on the surrounding world. Brisa received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in World Politics and Hispanic Studies from Hamilton College.
