Rev. Will McGarvey, Speaker

Rev. Will McGarvey has served as the Executive Director of the Interfaith Council of Contra Costa County since 2012, having also previously served on the board. In addition, he serves a Presbyterian-UCC congregation in Pittsburg, CA part-time. Rev. McGarvey is active in many justice-seeking endeavors, including LGBTQ inclusion, comprehensive immigration reform, hunger relief, affordable housing, poverty alleviation, criminal justice reform, and racial justice. Rev. McGarvey completed his seminary studies at San Francisco Theological Seminary, where he specialized in spiritual practices and the theology of the environment.
