Over the last six months the Content Department at ING has developed a number of exciting new lesson plans that were designed to reach end users directly instead of relying solely on a Muslim speaker. The new curriculum include five lesson plans for Getting to Know American Muslims and Their Faith (GTKAM), eight lesson plans for A History of Muslims in America, and five lesson plans for Muslim Contributions to Civilization. Each of these lesson plans are developed for educators and include relevant national and state-based curriculum standards, PowerPoint slides, full presentation notes, discussion question, and activities. In hopes of giving our audiences a better-rounded picture of our topics we have also included films and film clips to supplement the lesson plans. In total, we feature over 60 different films and over 80 clips taken from feature-length documentaries, short films, and music videos that deal with Islam and Muslims.
