Hosted by Anthropic, this gathering will bring together interfaith leaders convened by the University of San Francisco and the San Francisco Interfaith Council for an in-depth briefing and discussion on the current state and future of artificial intelligence. The five-hour program will introduce participants to the latest developments in advanced AI, explore where the technology may be headed, and examine its potential implications for individuals, communities, and society. The gathering will also provide an opportunity for interfaith leaders to share their perspectives, concerns, and recommendations with AI leaders on the ethical, social, and spiritual implications of the technology, including its impact on human dignity and the common good. Through this exchange, participants will explore how religious wisdom and shared ethical values can help inform the responsible development and use of artificial intelligence.
