The Environment and the Green Initiative

ING Content Manager Ameena Jandali is speaking on a panel on “The Environment and the Green Initiative” at the 59th Annual Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) Convention. Environmental degradation because of climate change is an existential threat. This panel will focus on approaches to mitigating climate change and supporting environmental justice for the most vulnerable communities. Panelists will also highlight Green Initiative efforts to raise awareness in mosques and Islamic schools in the United States to reduce energy consumption and host efficient, eco-friendly premises.

Throughout the event the panelists will entertain questions and have a discussion with the audience.
