Working with Clients and Coworkers of Diverse Faiths

Our Inclusion and Belonging training for behavioral care providers features speakers representing Muslim, Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, and Hindu communities. The interreligious panel highlights challenges faced by various faith groups, including religious bias in society and institutional settings that can impact mental health care access and outcomes. Panelists will share insights into prevailing stereotypes and discuss what they want behavioral care providers to understand to improve trust and culturally competent care. The training incorporates best practices for faith-sensitive care delivery.

Throughout the presentation the trainers will entertain questions and have a discussion with the audience.

Speakers: Diverse speakers from ING’s Interfaith Speakers Bureau
