Support Muslim Teens in Bullying Prevention

December 22, 2022

A 2020 ISPU survey found that 51% and a 2021 CAIR report in California found that 47% of Muslim students were bullied, nearly double the general public

Since 2017, we have trained hundreds of Muslim teens across the country on constructive ways to prevent or respond to bullying in their schools, as well as how to respond to difficult questions about Islam they get from peers and supplement the study of Muslims in history and current events through presentations they deliver themselves.

This year, we have also provided online training for all of these tools in an exclusive website we’ve built for Muslim teens: www.ingyouth.org.

One of our trained teen speakers, Saman Ali, was featured in a US Dept. of Education webinar titled: Preventing and Intervening in Identity-Based Bullying. Saman provided her experiences in bullying prevention through ING educational presentations at her former high school.

See the full video here. Ms. Ali’s comments can be viewed at the following time segments: 41:49 to 43:12, 51:39 to 56:09, and 1:11:56 to 1:13:28.

Join us as we continue to train and support Muslim teens. Give securely at www.ing.org/donate. Or send your donation to: ING, 3031 Tisch Way, 110 PW, San Jose, CA 95128.
