Dynamic Training to Foster Inclusive Patient Care

Our Inclusion and Belonging training for healthcare and dental care professionals begins with an introduction to Muslim identity and core values. This is followed by a discussion on Islamophobia and its profound impact on healthcare access and outcomes for Muslim Americans. The training provides actionable strategies for creating culturally competent healthcare and dental care delivery, with particular emphasis on accommodating best practices for women’s health, reproductive issues, dietary considerations, and end-of-life care. Participants will engage with case studies presenting realistic scenarios and explore effective, culturally responsive approaches to address them. Training is available in 1- and 2-hour formats.

Our Inclusion and Belonging training for healthcare and dental care professionals features speakers representing Muslim, Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, and Hindu communities. The interreligious panel highlights challenges faced by various faith groups, including religious bias in society and institutional settings that can impact healthcare access and outcomes. Panelists will share insights into prevailing stereotypes and discuss what they want healthcare and dental care providers to understand to improve trust and culturally competent care. The training incorporates best practices for faith-sensitive care delivery and concludes with interactive case studies and discussions. Available in 2- to 4-hour formats, the sessions include exercises and breakout discussions for deeper engagement.

Our Inclusion and Belonging training for healthcare and dental care professionals features speakers from African American, Indigenous, Latino/Hispanic, Asian, Jewish, and Muslim communities. The interracial panel begins with an exploration of the historical and ongoing narrative formation about these groups and how prevalent stereotypes contribute to implicit bias in healthcare and dental care settings. Panelists discuss the systemic and interpersonal challenges their communities face, share what they want healthcare providers to understand about them, and outline culturally competent best practices for unbiased care delivery. The training concludes with case studies and discussions on responding effectively to real-world scenarios. Available in 2- to 4-hour formats with interactive exercises and breakout sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Our Inclusion and Belonging training for healthcare and dental care professionals is fully customizable to meet your organization’s unique goals and challenges. Before the training, our team conducts a needs assessment through consultations to understand your priorities, workforce dynamics, and key areas of focus. This allows us to design a tailored program that addresses specific concerns, incorporates relevant case studies, and provides practical, actionable solutions for your team.
The case studies used in our Inclusion and Belonging training are carefully developed from real-life scenarios drawn from healthcare and dental care settings. These case studies reflect common challenges related to cultural competence, implicit bias, and inclusivity, enabling participants to engage in practical problem-solving. The scenarios are designed to encourage critical thinking, improve decision-making, and foster meaningful discussions on best practices for inclusive care delivery.
We view training as the beginning of a long-term commitment to improvement. To support continuous learning, we offer a range of post-training resources, including access to digital learning materials, follow-up coaching sessions, and Q&A opportunities with our trainers. We also provide customized toolkits and ongoing support to help participants integrate inclusion and belonging principles into their daily practices effectively.
We employ a multi-faceted approach to measure the effectiveness of our training programs. This includes pre- and post-training assessments, participant surveys, and feedback sessions to gauge learning outcomes and satisfaction. Additionally, we track behavioral changes and improvements in workplace practices over time, such as increased patient satisfaction, reduced bias-based complaints, and enhanced team communication. These metrics ensure that the training delivers tangible, measurable results for your organization.
