ING at the American Academy of Religions

This past week, in recognition of the valuable work we do in preserving religious freedoms and pluralism in the nation, I was invited to speak on a panel with other academics at the American Academy of Religions conference on the topic: “The Example of ING in Decolonizing Interreligious Education.” The talk described ING’s academic and community programs and the strategies employed to supplement education about religion in the public square, while countering stereotyping and bigotry in all its forms. Read my speech here.

As we near the end of the year, I will be sharing with our donors and supporters over the next few weeks how your contributions have made a difference this year. We invite you to consider making a donation to help us continue our critical work of promoting peace and countering bigotry before the end of the year. If you have already donated, what you will be reading in future weeks is attributed to your investments in us; our important programs would not have been possible without you. Thank you.
