ING is recruiting speakers for our Islamic Speakers Bureau (ISB), Interfaith Speakers Bureau (IFSB), and Intercultural Speakers Bureau (ICSB). Learn more about the programs by reading a short description below:
Join our Intercultural Speakers Bureau, where we address the history and role of narratives (stories we tell) about various groups, the perceptions which we form about them, the societal policies that result from these narratives, and how they impact racial and ethnic groups in the United States. Muslim Americans, Jewish Americans, Indigenous Peoples, African Americans, Latinx Americans, and Asian Americans speak on panels that educate about the various forms of bigotry they encounter, and how all Americans — White, Brown, and Black — can combat and root out racism by working together across all of our differences.
To become an ICSB speaker, register for a speaker training below:
- Tuesday, August 31st: 5:00pm-7:00pm PDT
- Thursday, September 2nd: 11:00am-1:00pm PDT
Join Our Interfaith Speakers Bureau, where we increase the understanding of Americans of Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Christian, Buddhist and Sikh backgrounds. Our most popular panel topics include “Shared Values Among Faiths,” “Women in Religion,” and “Living a Traditional Faith in Today’s World.” Here is an Interfaith Earth Day panel on the topic “Channeling Faith into Calls to Action on the Environment.”

- Thursday, August 26th: 11:00am-1:00pm PDT
Join Our Islamic Speakers Bureau, where we present about Islamophobia and its impact and other topics relating to Muslims and their faith. We speak to a variety of institutions, including the California Department of Education, school districts, corporations, civic organizations, government agencies, chaplaincies and classrooms in schools and universities.
