10/12/2002 – The 5th Annual Resources for Family (RFC) “Multicultural Festival” is set for Saturday, October 12. The festival will be held at the San Jose History Park from 10am – 6pm. Join us for the celebration and enjoy the many arts and crafts exhibits, foods including a FREE BBQ at noon, live multicultural performances, great music, and wonderful exhibits including FREE health screenings, enrollment for various health insurance programs and the Children’s Area. New activities include a Farmer’s Market, FREE neighborhood association and community workshops (sponsored by the City of San Jose Neighborhood Development Center), and a FREE book distribution by public television station KTEH! In addition, there will be a Youth Area with music & entertainment by WILD 94.9 & the Chill Mobile, the 02 van, and the Evergreen mobile skate park!
