Greetings of peace/Salam alaykum,

Ramadan, the Islamic month of fasting, begins on Tuesday April 13th. Ramadan is a time in which Muslims draw closer to God in the hope of cultivating virtuous character, gratitude for what they have, and compassion for the less fortunate. It’s also a time of extra giving to causes about which one is passionate.
