If you missed ING’s Annual Dinner, here are the highlights, with videos and pictures
ING’s Annual Dinner on February 8th, 2014 brought together a sold-out crowd from diverse backgrounds and faiths to discuss the role of religion in a secular society. Policy leaders, religious figures, and interfaith youth leaders spoke on a panel focusing on the night’s theme: “Is freedom of religion becoming fear of religion?” A full report on the evening’s activities can be found on our web site, with pictures as well as videos of the on-stage conversation.
The panel featured keynote speakers Dalia Mogahed and Imam Suhaib Webb, moderator Rachael Myrow of KQED, and youth leaders Seher Siddiqee, Osama el-Gabalawy, Simone Hudson, and Tim Brauhn. The back-and-forth conversation covered many topics of concern to religious communities and Americans at large. You can view a clip of this engaging discussion on our event page or on our YouTube channel.
We also would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to everyone who attended or contributed to ING, as well as our sponsors and honored panelists. It is because of you that ING’s important work is made possible.
