ING is Open for Business During the COVID-19 Pandemic
We hope that you and your family are doing well and staying healthy during this challenging time. At ING we have been through crisis before and we know that adaptability and resilience are key for all of us.
As some of you may know because you’ve used our online services, we already deliver all our educational presentation and panels online. For schools or other organizations looking to supplement their online teaching at this time, we offer a variety of the following LIVE presentations and panels on diverse topics. Please consider sharing the resources in this note with those who may benefit including educators, associates, friends, and family.
ING’s Online Presentations and Panels
Cultural Diversity Seminars about COVID-19 and Ramadan
ING trainers provide live online cultural diversity seminars for educators, healthcare providers, corporations, and law enforcement on the impact of COVID-19 upon Muslim Americans, especially in light of Ramadan which is less than a month away. These one-hour on-line seminars provide an overview of the topic, suggestions and tips for these service providers, and an opportunity for live Q & A with the presenter.

Intercultural Panels Addressing the Roots and Interconnectivity of Ways to Counter Bigotry
Intercultural panels examine the roots and interconnectedness of various forms of bigotry, including Islamophobia, Anti-Semitism, racism, and xenophobia, that are directed against Muslim, Jewish, Black, Latinx, Asian, Hindu, Sikh, and Native American populations. Panels include speakers representing various ethnic communities and conclude with a discussion about ways to counter bigotry in society. In light of the recent spike in hate incidents towards Asian Americans, this panel would be timely.

Interfaith Panels Discussing Faith Perspectives on Relevant Topics for your Class or Group
Supplementing diversity programming and content standards relating to the study of world religions and cultures, interfaith panels of representatives from the five major world religions discuss a dozen topics including living the faith, shared values, the role of women, religious holidays, and religious perspectives on a variety of other topics. Panelists also answer questions from the audience while modeling interfaith understanding and acceptance of diversity.
