Interactive Map: “Know Your Neighbor: Multifaith Encounters” Know Your Neighbor: Multifaith Encounters is a national grassroots campaign of the Know Your Neighbor Coalition, created and led by Islamic Networks Group (ING). Together, we seek to respond to anti-minority sentiment, bigotry, and hatred by encouraging and facilitating face-to-face engagement, relationship-building, dialogue, and action between people of different religious traditions, beliefs, and cultures. For information on joining this community please click here, and to find out more about Know Your Neighbor: Multifaith Encounters click here. ING has created an interactive map as a supplement to the Know Your Neighbor: Multifaith Encounters program in order to create a shared space for interfaith communities to share their work across the country. All interfaith groups in the United States are invited to share their programs and events, welcoming a wider audience of Americans who are interested in interfaith work. We do ask that these events and programs involve multiple faith traditions, and spend some time discussing the specifics of religious traditions. All programs and events on the map currently are until the end of February, 2017. Feel free to submit any events or programs occurring up until March, 2017. To find multifaith events and programs in your community, please use the map below. Events can be found by clicking the red tabs and programs by clicking the blue tabs. If there are no events or programs in your area, please use the yellow tabs to learn more about how to be involved with organizations that are a part of this coalition. Use this map by zooming into various regions of the community to find programs, events and organizations involved in this initiative.
