Date(s) - Monday, April 29th, 2019
6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts

Moderated by Santa Clara County Supervisor Joe Simitian, join us for an interfaith panel consisting of Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist and Christian representatives to address how religious communities view the beliefs and practices of other traditions.  The panel will answer questions such as: What does your tradition teach about religious pluralism? How does your religious tradition view other faith traditions? How does it view religious diversity within your own faith? Can adherence to one religious tradition be compatible with respect for the many other religious traditions and convictions in our world? How can we work towards more acceptance of a pluralistic society, and what are the benefits? Are there pitfalls, and how do we overcome them?

The session will also include a period of Q&A with the audience. Join us!

This panel is co-sponsored by the City of Mountain View.

Doors open at 6 pm. The event begins at 6:30 pm.
