Greetings of Peace:
As we begin the new year after a challenging three years of the pandemic, we pray that 2023 brings relief from these and the many other challenges we face locally, nationally, and globally. The Islamic tradition teaches that with every hardship comes ease, and we take solace in believing that things will get better, Inshallah – God willing.
We also pray and hope for a more peaceful, healthy, and unified country and world in this upcoming year. The pandemic has shown us that we are all interconnected, and that what afflicts some of us affects all of us. We have seen how we can overcome our challenges collectively, and that we are stronger when we work together.
At ING, this is the foundation of our work every day: to counter the bigotry that divides us; to build a more harmonious community based upon mutual respect and understanding, and to work together for a world where everyone can thrive.
